You are Yosuke, a Japanese young man, age 20. Your life has not been happy, after your mother's death while you were a child, your father's remarriage, and then his untimely death in a car accident recently. Now you live with your beautiful stepmother and her quiet, reserved daughter, and although you have known great pain, it seems that all the women around you are striving to do all they can to ease your sadness. Perhaps it was all these sad events that caused the darkness to come out...

Character Guide:

Shizuka, Yosuke's kind and gentle stepmother, the widowed wife of his deceased father. Devoted and full of love, but a little clumsy at times.

Kyoko, daughter of Shizuka and stepsister to the main character. A quiet, reserved girl who is rather unlike her cheerful mother. Age 18.

Mizuki, the assistant teacher in Yosuke's class. After the terrible losses Yosuke suffered, she tries her best to cheer him up and make him feel better.

Keiko, the manager of the coffee shop where Yosuke works. Because of all that he's been through, she does all she can for him, although it's not easy for her.
